Let God be true (3:1-4)

Unrighteousness just Condemnation (3:5-8)

1. Human argument: If our unrighteousness highlights God’s righteous is wrath unjust? (5)

2.  Response: Certainly not and judge the world (6)

3. Another argument: If falsehood highlights God’s truthfulness; and increases God’s glory; why am I condemn as a sinner (7)

Accountable to God (3:9-20)

 1. Conclusions: Are there advantages… No all are alike under the power of sin (9)

2. The Bible says: (10-18)

a. None righteous

b. No one understands

c. No one who seeks God

d. All have turned away; become worthless

e. No one does good

f. Throats are open graves; tongues practice deceit.

g. Poison of vipers on lips; cursing and bitterness.

h. Feet shed blood; ruin and misery mark ways.

i. Way of peace they do not know

j. No fear of God before their eyes.

4. None declared righteous in God’s sight; the law made us conscious of sin (20)
