Angel announces Babylon’s Judgment (Earth illuminated with heaven’s splendor) (Revelation 18:1-8) 1. Angel with great authority coming down from heaven illuminates earth with his splendor. (1) 2. Angel with mighty voice shouts (2-3) a. Fallen, Fallen Babylon the great b. She is a dwelling for demons, haunt for unclean bird, and detestable animal c. All nations have drunk wine of her adulteries. d. Kings of the earth committed adultery with her. 3. 2nd voice from heaven said (4-8) a. Come out of her my people that you will not receive plagues for sins and God remembered crimes (4-5) b. Give back as she has double what she has done from her own cup (6) c. Give her torment and grief as glory and luxury her gave herself d.
