Jesus humbles himself washing disciple’s feet – Servanthood example (John 13:1-17)

4. When Jesus came to Peter; Peter objects and Jesus responds unless I wash you have no part of me (6-8)

5. Peter ask for hands and head, Jesus instructs that only feet need washing, but not all are clean (9-11)

6. Jesus returns to table asking if disciples understand what was done with instruction to wash each other’s feet (12-14)

7. Jesus then tells He has set example; no servant is greater than master. (15-16)

Jesus tells of betrayal – Scripture fulfilled (John 13:18-21)

2. Jesus tells so when disciples see it they will believe who I am (19)
