Jesus then says “if you know me you know the Father”. “From now on you know and seen Him (7)

Seeing Jesus is seeing the Father - Call for Belief (John 14:8-14) 1. Philip asks “Show us the Father; that’s enough for us (8) 2. Jesus answers “anyone who sees me has seen the Father”, how can you ask? (9) 3. Jesus then asks Philip “Don’t you believe I am in the Father, and He in me”? (10a) 4. Jesus tells Philip, I speak with Father’s authority, I am doing His work (10b) 5. Jesus ask Philip to believe, believe the evidence of works themselves (11) 6. Jesus says the truth is “whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing”. (12) 7. Jesus declares “I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified.” (13-14)
