a. Pharisees and teachers of law ask Jesus “why do disciples break traditions?” (1-2)

b. Jesus asks why they break God’s law for traditions with “honor father and mother example (3-6)

c. Jesus calls out Isaiah prophecy describing them and tells what comes out of mouth defiles(7-11)

d. Disciples share that Pharisees are offended by Jesus’ comments (12)

e. Jesus responds to leave them; they are blind guides and will be judged (13-14)

a. Jesus went to Sea of Galilee on mountainside he taught and healed with great crowds (29-30)

b. People amazed seeing mute-speak, crippled-made well, lame-walk and blind- see; the crowd praised God (31)

c. Jesus’ compassion, calls disciples wanting to feed the people (32)

d. Disciples ask where do we get enough bread to feed such a crowd (33)

e. Jesus asks what do you have; response… seven loaves and few small fishes – Jesus uses what we have (34)

f. Jesus blesses, gives to disciples who distribute to the crowd with 7 basketfuls of broken pieces leftover (35-37)

g. 4000 men ate, besides women and children (38)

h. Sending the crowd away he got in a boat and went towards Magadan. (39)
