I am impressed with how the Holy Spirit in us places people in our life and directs our path to have the greatest impact on others. In our scripture, Barnabas separates himself (for a mission) from Paul and takes Mark with him and encourages him. Paul with Silas sets off to encourage others but is called to extend the Gospel to Macedonia and Greece.
Singing hymns in jail has the greatest impact when we listen to the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 10 [42] And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
Revelation 7 [17] For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
