Children of the Promise - Proverbs

This week we see... Wisdom described with its source and actions.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6)

  • Source of Wisdom and the repeated verse from last weeks' study... The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1:7)
  • Importance of Wisdom - "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding". (Proverbs 9:10)
