to the Lord. (1:1-8)
b. Hannah is grieved; weeps bitterly and prays because her
womb is closed (1:9-11)
c. The priest Eli sees Hannah blesses her in her prayer (1:12-18)
d. Hannah’s prayers are answered with a son Samuel (1:19-20)
e. Hannah stays at home with Samuel until he is weaned. (1:21-23)
