Mary Magdalene cries outside empty tomb recognizes Jesus calling her by name (John 20:11-18) a. Mary Magdalene crying bends to see two angels (11-12) b. Jesus asks Mary the reason for crying (13) c. Mary turns and responds Jesus, but does not recognize Him (14-15) d. Jesus calls Mary by name and then she recognizes Jesus calling Him Rabbi (16) e. Mary is told to not hold Jesus but to tell and does (17-18)

Disciples see risen Jesus are blessed and sent; Thomas for verification Jesus is belief (John 20:19-31) a. First day disciples meet; Jesus appears showing Himself bringing joy  (19-20) b. Risen Jesus greets, sends, gives power to disciples  (21-23) c. Thomas hearing of disciples seeing Jesus; states he requires verification for belief (24-25) d. Jesus appears to Thomas and disciples asking for him to touch hands and side and stop doubting – He believes (26-29) e. John has written for belief (30-31)
