James tells of trials, tests, and temptations (James 1:1-18)
a. Greeting to 12 Tribes (1:1)
b. Persevering under trials tests our faith (1:2-4)
c. Ask God if we lack wisdom (1:5-8)

e. Perseverance under trial is blessed with the crown of life (1:12)
f. Temptation is not from God, but our evil desires  (1:13-15)
